WHO WE ARE...
We are Idaho natives that live in Garden Valley, on the same property to be exact, and have a deep love for Idaho and its beauty. We enjoy a home cooked meal, love our families deeply, and have a big drive to bring something to our community.
Erin has become a gluten free baking expert, as her husband has Celiacs and also has a little bit of a sweet tooth. Through the evolution of changing her diet and trying to recreate her favorite sweets she has become a gluten free pro. Quite literally! Not everything on our menu is gluten free, but we wanted to bring some options to those who want to indulge and enjoy treats just the same but need to avoid the gluten. You most likely won't even spot the difference. We promise!
Katja is our sweets enthusiast, but also somewhat of a health nut. Her goal in life, to enjoy all the treats but guilt free! Always on a mission to source quality ingredients and make foods free of dyes, preservatives, artificial sweeteners and flavors. Of course, you only live once so there are a few exceptions. On our menu you will find thoughtfully sourced ingredients and most everything made from scratch. Yet the flavors and textures are still completely intact. You might even say it tastes better!
We have combined our love of baking and our dream to start a business together to create The Flying Pig.
